Bio:
Sana is an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist at DLA Piper, responsible for the recruitment and delivery of early careers programmes in London and Dubai – including the Furas Internship, which recruits local Emirati talent in Dubai. With just over seven years’ experience in early careers, she is a recognised advocate for nurturing and retaining inclusive talent, not only at DLA Piper but also during her time at one of the Big Four firms.
Recently appointed as a co-chair of DLA Piper’s race, ethnicity & faith people network, Mosaic, her impact to embed inclusion in the firm, goes further than early careers. Earlier in the year, she was shortlisted for the WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award for HR & Recruitment and in a 2024 she was named a Top 10 Future Leader by Investing in Ethnicity. In 2023, Sana was recognised among EqualityX’s Top 50 Influential Muslims in Europe.
From a traditional Pakistani background, coming from a low-income household and being the first in her family to go to university, Sana goes beyond recruitment to challenge systemic barriers and is a champion of driving change and social equity within early careers for the future.
