Gabriella is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning international development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and organisational effectiveness. Currently, she serves as the Head of DEI for the EMEA region at Macquarie Group, focusing on inclusive leadership, talent, and organisational culture. Gabriella joined Macquarie in 2021, initially holding the same role in Asia. Before joining Macquarie, Gabriella was the Director of Pipeline Initiatives at The Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong, where she led gender diversity and inclusion programs aimed at developing female talent for executive and non-executive roles and engaging men in the process. She also served as Director of Food & Water Europe in Brussels, advocating for the human right to water, and was the Communications Lead at the European Parliament. In 2024, Gabriella was a finalist for the Rising Star Award in the Diversity category by WeAreTheCity, recognising her commitment to creating inclusive work environments. She was also a candidate for the European Parliament representing Italy.
