His leadership journey encompasses a number of diverse roles, such as leading diversity for Live Nation / Ticketmaster, the world’s largest music entertainment business, across 40 international markets. Additionally, he played a key role at The Homes and Communities Agency, overseeing equality within its £40 billion in investments for physical, social, and economic regeneration programs in the UK’s most disadvantaged areas. At the Commission for Racial Equality, David led the legal function, supporting over 3000 cases of discrimination.

David’s experience extends to Citizens Advice, where he enhanced services for clients experiencing domestic abuse, labour trafficking, exploitation, and discrimination based on race, gender, and disability.

Notable achievements include spearheading the UK’s first housing scheme for older LGBT individuals in Manchester, directing a £750 million capital funding infusion into the Black Housing Association sector, and implementing government recommendations on extremism following the Commission on Integration and Cohesion’s report into the London bombings on 7/7.

Beyond his corporate roles, David served as the Chair of the College of Police’s Equality and Human Rights Board, acted as a Trustee for the migrant charity Praxis, and contributed to advisory roles at UK Music and various government taskforces addressing inequality, social exclusion, and disability. He has also acted as a mentor for young people who are vulnerable and at risk of crime / social exclusion.
