PurpleSpace
PurpleSpace is the world’s only networking and professional development hub for disabled employees, network and resource group leaders and allies from all sectors and trades.
We developed out of Kate Nash Associates work in supporting or establishing disability employee networks and resource groups for organisation including: Fujitsu, Barclays, EY, PwC, GSK and Transport for London.
We are a small social business with a big mission:
“To make it easier for employees to navigate the experience of ill health, disability or the experience of an accident or injury, at the same time as flourishing at work.”
We do this in three ways:
- By creating the world’s first professional development and best practice exchange for disability employee network and / or resource group leaders, allies & champions
- By supporting employee network and resource group leaders to build vibrant disability networks that help colleagues to bring their authentic selves to work
- By helping employers to improve business performance by learning directly from disabled employees
Ultimately we believe that the only real way for employees and employers to build disability confidence is from the inside out.
Our members and clients are together investing in a unique ‘movement’ of existing disabled employees and their allies, champions & executive sponsors who all have skin in the game.

National Day for Staff Networks
The 2024 National Day for Staff Networks will take place on Wednesday 8th May.
Also known as Networks Day, the national day for staff networks is all about celebration, inspiration and transformation. Many staff networks (employee/business resource groups, Diversity Groups etc.) provide employees from under-represented groups with valuable guidance and timely advice as they navigate their organisation’s culture and endeavour to offer their authentic best in the workplace. The national day for staff networks is a celebration of the expanding and diverse range of work across the public, private and voluntary sectors which continues to foster inclusive workplaces; thus making work better.
