Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing
Katja has over 10 years of experience within HR across several industries. Before joining Zurich in Jan 2018 she was a global HR Business Partner at Credit Suisse. In this role she has lead the global Diversity & Inclusion work stream within Operations and CIO.
Before joining Credit Suisse in Zurich, Katja worked for Allianz Group from 2013-2017. In her last role at Allianz Global Investors in Frankfurt/Main she was a Global HR Business Partner for Distribution and also looked after the branches in Switzerland, Spain, Benelux and Nordics. Previous to that Katja was responsible for the global Engagement Survey and covered Americas and EMEA as a Global Key Account Manager Talent Management & Diversity at Allianz SE in Munich.
Katja started her career in 2007 at Lufthansa Group. She worked in several HR roles and managed Work Well programs in Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo. Since 2010 she was part of the Diversity & Change Management team while doing her PhD within the field of Leadership & Diversity. She also took part in a cross mentoring program to support Daimler in driving diversity initiatives.
Katja holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior (Rotterdam School of Management), a Master in Global Management (Antwerp Management School), as well as a Master in Sports Science (German Sport University Cologne).
