Bio:
Damien has been with Santander just over five years and is the Head of HR – Culture, Inclusion and Experience.
As the Head of HR, Damien leads the development of the culture strategy identifying the overall cultural themes to support the alignment of purpose, values and behaviours across all Santander UK colleagues. Included in his responsibilities are cultural direction, employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, culture measurement and people insights, colleague engagement and experience, employer brand and behaviour frameworks.
Outside of his role at Santander, Damien sits on the HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter Board as the UK Banking representative promoting gender inclusion across the Financial Services industry and is a member of the Business in the Community Wellbeing Leadership Team with the purpose to build a movement that is committed to positioning health and wellbeing as strategic boardroom issues with a particular focus on mental health; driving collective action through evidence-based, practical solutions.
