Bio:
Simon is a passionate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion leader with over 15 years’ experience in directing diversity, wellbeing and community initiatives. He is a specialist in driving positive cultural change for colleagues, customers or service users. His expertise is in understanding the drivers that can help to support that change and identifying opportunities, all built on practical experiences to achieve successful results. He has worked with organisations from across the public and private sectors, including Barclays plc, Bank of England and GSK plc.
He now works with clients across industries helping them to set their strategies and support them to drive culture change across their operations. Simon does this by building strong relationships with leaders and potential leaders to help them embed inclusive behaviours in their day to day.
Simon is an active advocate for LGBTQ+ equality and it has been a constant theme in his career. In 2004 he helped establish Spectrum at Barclays Investment Bank which led to him leading their global LGBTQ+ agenda. He is currently the chair of MindOut, a UK focused LGBTQ Mental Health charity. He works with leaders to help them better understand how they can support these communities.
