Jai (he/they) is a DE&I practitioner with extensive experience in human resources, having worked in roles ranging from analytics to partnering. They have a broad understanding of the people and culture landscape.
Presently, Jai is working in the DE&I team at Google DeepMind to support trust-building by catalysing change in underlying systems. Their goal is to create a path to equitable opportunity and outcomes at Google DeepMind and in the AI industry. Day-to-day, Jai partners across Google DeepMind to expand thinking and ensure that DE&I is woven into everyday operations and strategic initiatives.
In addition, Jai is a board member of Camden STEAM. As a member, they advocate for the borough’s STEAM initiative to ensure that all young people within Camden have access to a world-leading STEAM education. This ensures equity and accessibility to opportunities in hard-to-reach sectors.
