Bio:
Ben has a real passion and enthusiasm for people topics and has had an interesting seven years at Siemens. After four years in operational roles and being a keen DEI Champion, he then was offered the chance to lead the topic in the UK Siemens Mobility where he was influencing cultural change and transformation.
Prior to Siemens he has always contributed to this incredibly important topic, most notably his work with female offenders where he created diversified the pool of volunteers to ensure greater engagement with a wide range of service users and as a youth worker where created opportunities for disadvantaged young people. He also spent some time in the financial world and was the catalyst for a leadership programme around DEI all the way back in 2008 at a UK bank.
Ben is also a proud trans man who had had previous negative experiences in other workplaces, at Siemens he not only felt accepted but embraced. This drives him to achieve a more equitable tomorrow for everyone!
