As part of this commitment we now have a vacancy for an experienced Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager to join our institution.

The University has recently launched its new Strategic Equality Plan for 2020 to 2024.Within this Plan we have set out how we will take steps to increase the diversity of our workforce; create an inclusive working environment which enables every person to be themselves and be treated with dignity, fairness and respect; and embed equality and inclusion into our decision making and learning and teaching practices.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for equality, diversity and inclusion to lead this next phase of our agenda and make a tangible difference to our ambitious plans. We would like to recruit a colleague who can lead on compliance, coordinate activity to drive improvement against our existing action plans, in addition to implementing new work programmes that will emerge from our recent membership of the Race Equality Charter.

The position is based at Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales with travel around all campuses where required. Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic many colleagues are working from home.
