We’re recruiting for an Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to ensure the successful implementation and advancement of the Group Functions inclusion & diversity strategy. This is a key role that will deliver change, results and turn strategy into action!


  • Develop and deliver a prioritised I&D activation plan with the Group Functions People Director
  • Use data and insight, including from our colleague engagement survey to develop initiatives that feed into that activation plan, related to developing an Inclusive culture and improving representation
  • Project manage the roll out plan of the Inclusion Immersion sessions and co-facilitate sessions
  • Own and track the I&D related data submissions and narrative for Group Functions for internal and external reporting
  • Influence and mentor leaders within group functions to be advocates of I&D
  • Shape the way our colleague experience becomes more inclusive by working with our Colleague Experience Team on the refresh of People policies, process, benefits etc
  • Support the Affinity Network Steerco for Group Functions (Affinity Alliance) and partner with Networks on the execution of their plan, offering thought leadership and helping them get cut through with their plans
  • Work with the Internal Communications team to Identify and agree on what I&D events in the calendar should be celebrated and how
  • Develop ways (in partnership with the I&D CoE) to improve outreach of I&D activity into French, Polish and East Asian Group Functions populations
  • Participate in the I&D leads forum facilitated by the I&D CoE offering thought leadership and sharing external best practice from your experience
  • Represent Group Functions in the UK Census Working Group, developing the engagement campaign, and then using the output to give us insight and inform priorities

Skills & Experience

  • Most importantly you will have a deep passion for the continual progression of the I&D agenda
  • Track record of developing and implementing I&D or other complex people initiatives which have contributed to achieving business objectives.
  • Sound understanding of I&D, knowledgeable of current trends and issues impacting I&D within organisations
  • Excellent stakeholder management/influence being able to easily engage at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share a message to varying audiences and communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with ambiguity, able to manage and coordinate changing priorities and work independently.
