Bio:
Kalpana works at the intersection of global organizations, culture and people and is a passionate advocate for creating inclusive, diverse, and equitable spaces for all. She helps organizations develop and implement inclusive talent strategies for significant impact on the business, employee experience, and employer brand.
Most recently, Kalpana served as the inaugural Chief Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Officer at Kering, a luxury fashion group, where she developed the global Diversity and Inclusion mission and strategy. This included building inspiring initiatives to create authentic behavior change and designing inclusive talent processes to drive systemic change around attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent.
Just prior she was Managing Director at leadership consultancy Russell Reynolds Associates, where she co-led the firm’s global Diversity and Inclusion practice, as well as advised and partnered with consumer and retail clients on their talent strategy.
She has navigated several industries – systems consulting, consumer, leadership advisory, higher education and non-profit, as well as diverse cultures and perspectives, having worked and lived in 7 countries across the US, Asia and Europe.
