Head of ESG, Inclusion and Diversity

Jenn is a Psychologist and leads ESG, Inclusion and Diversity for the fifth largest professional services firm; Grant Thornton UK LLP. She is responsible for designing, shaping, critiquing, and leading the I&D and Health direction, aiming to transform the culture and attract, retain, and liberate diverse people. Her team are focused on creating and sustaining a respectful, healthy, and inclusive culture, based on values and trust, progressing talent, unleashing potential, and creating the systems that sustain health and diversity. Jenn is addressing this through robust governance and measure, chairing diversity boards, respectfully challenging behaviour, and increasing flexibility, sponsorship, and utilising technology to remove barriers in the operating model. Prior to this role; she led the People Experience function as a Director, shaping the employee value proposition and influencing senior leaders to change behaviour to improve the people experience.
During her career she has worked in psychological transformational change, executive coaching and leadership change. Prior to Grant Thornton, she worked in senior roles with The Co-operative Group, BAE Systems and BAA at Heathrow, where she led the transformation of people behaviours to improve customer service in preparation for the Olympic Games in 2012.
Jenn has a Master’s in Psychology, she’s an Executive Coach Supervisor (OCM), is an Equine Leadership Development coach and an NLP Practitioner. She is also a firm advocate and speaker on the commercial and societal benefits of part time working and speaks regularly about working and living with a disability after being diagnosed with a rare condition called Dermatomyositis in 2018. Jenn also prioritises her mental fitness and is passionate about sports psychology, mentoring young adults from low social backgrounds in sports psychology, resilience, and mental health.
