Rukasana Bhaijee, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead, formerly with EY
Rukasana is a Diversity and Inclusion leader with 9 years of industry experience in Professional Services and Higher Education. Rukasana has recently joined Google to lead the D&I agenda cross Google’s EMEA technology business. Rukasana worked at EY as a Management Consultant supporting organisations to achieve their D&I ambitions; providing consultancy at all levels of D&I maturity. In the last year Rukasana has worked with Executive level teams in the public and private sector to build inclusive leadership capability, led on D&I strategy build, developed sponsorship programmes to support the progression of women/ethnic minority individuals and has delivered cultural intelligence programmes. Rukasana previously delivered organisational change programmes internally at EY to advance outcomes for minority groups across the business and build leadership capability as an Inclusion Coach. Prior to EY Rukasana worked at Queen Mary University London, focusing on Gender Diversity in academia. In 2019 Rukasana was highly commended as an ‘Inspirational Role Model’ of the year at the European Diversity Awards and is also a member of TNON – BAME Chapter (The Network of Networks) supporting ERG’s to be successful change agents in their respective organisations. Rukasana is a public speaker on areas of diversity, equity and inclusion and has written a number of thought leadership pieces to support organisational progression and drive action. Dr. Doyin Atewologun, Director, Delta Alpha Psi
Doyin, a Chartered Organisational Psychologist, is one of the UK’s foremost experts on organisational development, diversity, intersectionality and leadership. Doyin is a scholar practitioner, a regular media contributor, and multi-award winner in recognition of her innovative methodologies for working with difference in organisations. Doyin has recently been appointed Dean of the Rhodes Scholarships at Oxford University, commencing June 2020. She is concurrently Director of the Gender, Leadership & Inclusion Centre at Cranfield School of Management and of Delta Alpha Psi, a niche leadership and inclusion consultancy. Doyin has worked with many of the FTSE 100, United Nations agencies, legal and other professional services firms, and the UK Civil Service for over 15 years; she adopts an evidence-based approach when working with business leaders to advance inclusion. Currently, Doyin is Inclusion Adviser on Regional Talent Boards for the NHS. She also led the ground-breaking project for the UK General Medical Council on the over-representation of minority ethnic doctors in Fitness to Practise referrals with Roger Kline, OBE. Further, Doyin is Academic Adviser on the Parker Steering Committee led by Sir John Parker into ethnic diversity on FTSE350 boards as commissioned by the then-UK Secretary of State for Business. Doyin also holds visiting faculty positions at Queen Mary, University of London; Lagos Business School, Nigeria; and the Human Resources Management Department at University of Pretoria, South Africa.
