Carol Campayne, Founder, Different Women Different Places (DWDP)
With a reputation for delivering prominent diversity, inclusion, organisation and leadership development programmes across the public, private and voluntary sector, Carol has established a national standing for successfully implementing organisational change at strategic and operational levels. As Executive Director of the Diversity Practice, Carol’s ability to expand the leadership reach and capabilities of individuals – particularly those from minority groups – has been recognised by a wide spectrum of organisations including EY, Babcock International and Northern Trust, and across the NHS and Higher Education, all of which have engaged Carol to deliver high-profile diversity and inclusion programmes. As one of the architects of Different Women, Different Places, Carol has spent the last decade exploring the impact of intersectionality and the relationship between ‘different women’ and their white female counterparts.
Jonny Briggs, Global Head, Talent Acquisition & Inclusion, Aviva
Jonny joined Aviva as the Group Head of Talent Acquisition in January 2016 with responsibility for global recruitment, last year he additionally took on the Inclusion function. He was previously Head of Talent Acquisition at Thomson Reuters (IP&S) for three years where he established a central sourcing hub, resulting in record time to hire, quality of hire and agency hire of under 5%. Jonny joined Thomson Reuters after six years at RBS, working in Group, their Corporate Bank and finally as Head of Resourcing at Coutts. Living in west London with his wife and three children he loves watching live sport.
Sabina Khanom, Head of Inclusion, Aviva
Sabina is the Head of Inclusion at Aviva. She has worked in diversity & inclusion for 10 years, both in the private and public sector. She holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and uses this background in psychology to take an evidence-based approach in creating inclusive organisations for employees, customers and suppliers. In recognition of her work at King’s College London, Sabina was awarded the King’s Principal’s Award. In her spare time, Sabina is learning French and enjoys yoga. She will be starting a part-time PhD in Organisational Behaviour in January 2021.
