Mental Health in the Workplace for Ethnic Minorities:
Harder to Reach or Easier to Ignore?
We’re increasing in our awareness and understanding of both mental health and Minority Ethnic experiences in the workplace. The long overdue next step is to acknowledge the intersection, and unique challenges in mental health and wellbeing faced by Minority Ethnic employees. With a passion for inclusive wellbeing support and their own lived experiences to draw on and learn from, Poppy Jaman OBE and Atif Choudhury invite you to join them in a fireside chat to discuss:
- What the Black Lives Matter movement and COVID crisis has triggered in terms of intersectionality in mental health?
- Is the Mental Health agenda intersectional and inclusive to all lived experiences?
- What is the impact of masking hidden differences and neurodivergence on mental health for Minority Ethnic individuals?
- How can we encourage participation and open discussion of mental health for Minority Ethnic employees?
