Donna is an award-winning executive (Empower) and mentor (First Women) who has had a varied career as an auditor, consultant, and business advisor. Now Donna supports clients in exploring, creating and executing their diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Donna has over 35 years’ experience as a management consultant and Executive and has held senior roles at the London Borough of Lambeth, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Donna sites her experience of working for Nelson Mandela’s Government in the early 1990s as the motivation of forever fighting for change. Donna is also passionate about giving back, . She is – and has been – a judge for the Black British Business Awards for the last eight years, she’s a judge for the Baton Awards, a mentor for the Cherie Blair Women in Business Programme, and a school governor.

Shani Dhanda, Network Expansion Belonging Lead, Virgin Media O2 & Disability Inclusion & Accessibility Strategist
Shani is among the UK’s highest-profile and most influential disabled people. As an inclusion and accessibility strategist and consultant, she works with businesses, broadcasters and the UK government to break barriers and integrate intersectional inclusion and accessibility into their frameworks. Shani has spoken at over 250 conferences and companies worldwide, including the United Nations, World Expos, and TEDx and shared speaking stages with Michelle Obama and Hilary Clinton. Regularly appearing in the media, Shani has been profiled in British Vogue, BBC, CNN, Sky News, CBC, Financial Times and Global Citizen, to name a few. She’s also a broadcaster, and you can catch Shani on shows such as Loose Women, Rip off Britain, Jeremy Vine on 5 and BBC (Sunday) Morning Live. Shani holds seven current executive and advisory roles and is an ambassador at five national and global disability organisations. Shani’s intersectional activism has led her to challenge social inequality globally through entrepreneurship, and is the founder of Diversability, Asian Woman Festival and Asian Disability Network.

I am also a founding member and past Co-Chair of News UK’s first employee-led network for Black, Asian and ethnic minority employees, the Cultural Diversity Network.
