Mohammed Ilyas is the first Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, having joined the institution in November 2023. In this role, he leads the development and implementation of the School’s DEI Strategy.

Prof. Doyin Atewologun, Founder & CEO, Delta
Doyin is a psychologist, scholar practitioner, regular media contributor and multi-award winner in recognition of her innovative methodologies and pioneering work in promoting inclusion and excellence in organisations. She is CEO and Founder of Delta, a leadership and inclusion consultancy and her previous roles include Dean of the Rhodes Scholarship at the University of Oxford, and Director of the Gender, Leadership & Inclusion Centre at Cranfield School of Management. Doyin is the Academic Adviser on the UK-government backed Parker Review Committee, a non-executive member of Tearfund’s People & Culture Committee which reports to the Board, and Trustee of the Old Fire Station arts centre in Oxford. Doyin is an Honorary Fellow at Trinity College, University of Oxford. She was recognised in People Management magazine’s Top 20 Diversity and Inclusion ‘Power List’ for 2020 and has won numerous awards for excellence in academic publications.

Ash Ellis, Deputy Director for Leadership, Inclusion & Organisational Experience, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Ash joined the NHS in 2010 and has enjoyed a career spanning clinical practice, operational management, education, leadership and organisational development. He has worked in public, private, and charity organisations. In the NHS he has worked regionally with Health Education England, in Acute Hospitals, Community, and Mental health Trusts. His professional credentials include Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), an MA in Leadership, and an accredited coach and mentor. He is currently Deputy Director for Leadership, inclusion and Organisational Experience at Berkshire Healthcare where he has been focusing the organisation to become anti-racist and improve access, outcomes, and experience for patients and staff.
