Leng Montgomery, Senior DE&I Consultant, Charlotte Sweeney Associates
Leng is a passionate LGBT inclusion and Trans specialist from the UK who actively engages and consults with private and public sector companies. He is a regular speaker within the D&I field and has appeared on BBC radio, he has also written policy and delivered keynote speeches to many organisations for UK and EMEA. He’s worked as a consultant but also in house for companies such as ASOS, BDO, Sainsbury’s and Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to this, Leng worked at Stonewall, where notably he worked the Workplace Equality Index and the Trans inclusion guides that were launched in 2016. In addition to this Leng also has done a lot of work in Disability, Race & Ethnicity and Gender Equality space leading on strategic planning and has a very keen passion for activating allyship and getting all companies to look at people with an intersectional lens. In 2014 he was the first openly trans contestant on BBC’s Masterchef and for two years running from 2014-2015 he was listed on the Independent’s Rainbow List in the ‘Ones to Watch’ category. He’s also one of the Top 10 2018 LGBT awards Corporate Rising Star category and a TEDx London speaker in 2018.
Leana Coopoosamy-Pearson, Inclusion & Wellbeing Manager, Clifford Chance
Leana is an Inclusion & Diversity Expert currently working in the legal sector. Previous to this, she supported a number of FTSE 100 organisations to drive ethnic minority inclusion in the workplace. Leana was the first recruiter to actively drive a partnership with the CIPD and Kings College London to run ‘Employability Workshops’ and now focuses on driving inclusion and a more equitable workplace. A highly ambitious, adaptable, relationship driven professional with a passion for equality. Leana is an International Relations graduate with extensive recruitment knowledge, experience of workforce planning and embedding inclusive cultures within corporate environments. Aside from work, Leana is a Trustee for Show Racism the Red card, the leading anti-racism educational charity and the Founder of Nigella Boutique, a business providing Mama to be Hampers. Instead of focusing just on baby, they provide products for baby and Mama, focusing on supporting Black and ethnically diverse businesses.
