Bio:
Verity is the Equalities, Diversity, Inclusion and Culture Adviser at the Greater London Authority. Verity joined the GLA in 2021 and is responsible for embedding the GLA’s new Workforce EDI Strategy ‘We Belong Here’ across the organisation. Verity is also responsible for supporting and advising all 8 of the GLA’s Staff Networks – including supporting Networks to establish their strategic aims, working with Executive and Mayoral Sponsors, and revising the GLA’s Network Governance to increase engagement across the organisation.
Prior to working at the GLA, Verity worked as the Training and Consultancy Advisor for disability charity Leonard Cheshire – supporting organisations across all sectors to embed disability inclusion and remove barriers for disabled people.
