Bio:
Lucy is an Inclusion and Diversity Business Partner for the British Transport Police. With 14 years’ service and has delivered various positive action interventions and support for under-represented groups, as well as breaking the status quo through policy and process change. In 2020 Lucy was nominated for a British Association of Women in Policing (BAWP) award for her work to tackle stigma around Baby Loss, she also sits on the National Steering Group for Perinatal Mental Health in Policing.
An unwaveringly committed People & Culture professional, Lucy has a proven track record of role modelling diversity, inclusion & belonging. She was instrumental in implementing the ‘Mastering Your Power’ Coaching programme at BTP which won the PPMA Award for Best Inclusion and Diversity Initiative in 2021. She is a fierce advocate of gender equality and currently co-chair of the Female Police Association. Keen to address issues of intersectionality, she passionately supports BTPs Race & Inclusion Forum and is a strong ally to the LGBT+ network.
