Bio:
David has 18 years operational policing service with British Transport Police and his current role is Temporary Superintendent for our Pennine Sub Division in the North of England. He is also the force lead for Neighbourhood Policing and is the current chair of BTP’s LGBT+ Support Network.
David has a real passion for ensuring that everyone who works for BTP can bring their genuine selves to work so that they feel comfortable working for the organisation and that their difference is valued. He has designed and delivered an LGBT+ Strategy for BTP and is particularly proud to have facilitated a number of successful policy changes to ensure the inclusion of transgender and gender-diverse employees.
