Bio:
Gary started his risk management roots during a full career with the British Army, transitioning into health and safety in the oil and gas industry in hostile environments on leaving the service.
This earlier period helped in gaining international experience across a high-risk portfolio. He has continued to develop and gain wider experience having entered a number of different industries including manufacturing prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group early in 2021. Gary has just started a new role as Head of Health and Safety at Commercial Estates Group.
Gary is a Charted fellow with the Charted Management Institute as well as a Chartered Safety and Health practitioner with IOSH.
