Bio:
Darren is a Senior Director of Digital Accessibility at Eli Lilly and Company. Leading an enterprise strategy and global team to embed accessibility best practices throughout Lilly’s digital environment. Darren has been driving disability inclusion at Lilly for over ten years, starting with co-founding the EnAble Employee Resource Group in 2015 and establishing Access Lilly in 2020, a global accessibility program with a vision to create a disability confident culture. Darren is a PurpleSpace Ambassador, chairing their Global ERG Forum and is the Co-Chair for Business Disability Forum’s Tech Taskforce. Darren has been blind since the age of 18, having lost most of his central vision through a rare hereditary eye condition (LHON).
