Bio:
Raj joined Sanofi in December 2020 heading up Diversity, Equity + Inclusion, Culture and Employee Experience. Raj is determined to make an impact in the workplace, nurturing a culture that thrives on a diverse workforce at every level of the organisation, ensuring that under representation is systemically addressed, that all Sanofians feel included, engaged and proud to belong. Ultimately, Raj wants them to enjoy a seamless, positive and purposeful experience no matter where they are in the world and to feel equally connected to the communities in which they live and serve.
He has over 25 years of global HR transformation and change leadership experience which comes from having held both specialist and generalist HR leadership roles, at country, regional and international level in organisations such as Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover Cars, Santander Bank and most latterly, Sodexo, where he was global Senior Vice President, Human Resources.
Raj currently sits on the Board of Barnardo’s, which is the UK’s oldest and leading Children’s charity. He has previously sat on the SteerCo at Warwick University Busines School for their Award-winning MBA mentoring programme. He has also been externally recognised as a top 100 BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) leader for several years.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Law, a Master’s in Management Science, an Executive MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel.
Raj lives in the UK, is married, has two teenage children and one very naughty dog.
